Whom Will You Be Seeing?

I am a clinical psychologist and Certified HSP-P provider with over 15 years of experience working with patients on a wide range of issues.  I have particular interest in women’s issues and focus especially on anxiety, depression, and trauma.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

I have been a psychotherapist in private practice in The Greater Lake Norman Region since 2008 after moving here from the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to moving to North Carolina, I worked at Pleasanton Psychological Services in private practice as a psychological assistant and The Discovery Counseling Center of The San Ramon Valley, a community mental health center, providing individual therapy to adults, adolescents and children as well as psychological testing.

In my final years of doctoral training, I interned at the UCSF Department of Psychiatry at San Francisco General Hospital  – Psychosocial Medicine Outpatient Clinic providing individual and group therapy to individuals referred by primary care physicians.  I also worked at Discovery Counseling Center of the San Ramon Valley providing therapy and psychological assessment. As a psychology trainee, I worked at Westside Crises and Outpatient Clinic in San Francisco as well as the University Counseling Center at University of California, Davis.
